Ordering through our website:

Connecting the Universe Music wants you the customer to feel 100% safe and confident when ordering music through our website. Please be assured that our website's credit card transaction terminal has the highest possible security setting. Currently our ordering system uses Netscape's Secure Protocol SSL (128 bit encrypted Secure Socket Layer) to ensure your credit card's safety when ordering music from our website. If you feel that you’ve made an error during your ordering process, please contact us as soon as possible and we will be happy to correct it over the phone (207-266-4760). Furthermore, we do not store or have access to any credit card number after you've placed your order through our website.

How we ship the CDs:

We take great care in packaging your new Detaching the World CDs, guaranteeing their safe trip to your home. All CDs are shrink-wrapped, packaged by hand, and encased in bubble-wrap. Orders prior to 3:00 p.m. M-F our time, are shipped out that same day via
2-3 day priority mail.

Our refund policy is as follows:

Connecting the Universe Music stands by our music 100%. Due to the increased amount of CD “burning” and copying, we do not allow payment refunds for any order placed through our website www.detachingtheworld.com.

Our “damaged” return policy is as follows:

We allow a 100% equal exchange return of your purchase if your CDs arrive to the shipping destination damaged and the shrink-wrap has not been removed. If your CDs have arrived with the jewel-case cracked or damaged and the shrink-wrap has not been removed, we will be happy to exchange your Detaching the World CD(s) with another of equal value. This lets us know that you have not tried to “burn” or copy any of our music on to other multi media. We will however refund the shipping cost for your return package. Follow the instructions below if your order has arrived damaged.

If your order arrives damaged:

1. Do not unwrap your CD(s) from shrink-wrap (plastic wrap covered around jewel-case).
2. Re-apply the bubble-wrap to your damaged CDs.
3. Write a note with your full name, address used for the order, and a phone number of where we can reach you.
4. Package your CDs with the requested note and send to the following address via first class mail:

5. Once we have receive your returned order, a replacement of the CD(s) will be shipped back to you along with a check made out to you for the shipping amount of the return.
